Just things

Campbell and I have had a lot more free time since school has been out. We have been going to the library and checking out movies, picking out christmas gifts, going for walks and adventures, making up new games to play, watching judge Judy, spending a lot of time with our families, sleeping in late, and getting ready to go to MISSOURI! We leave either tonight or tomorrow, depending on when my mom gets off work. It has been fun. Here are a few pictures. The first two are from October, before Will left on his mission.

On the way to hear Will's talk

This picture was from Will's farewell back in October. All of the boys had matching ties!

This picture makes me laugh, Camp looks like an excited little boy ready to play.

Camp and wmy  brother!

This is when we were playing a mini soccer game on the tennis courts at the apartments. Campbell won the soccer game but then we played "PIG" soccer version and I won that one!
I was really bundled up with lots of layers, Campbell's thin jacket was good enough for him though.

Campbell chugging his favorite drink.

This was my Christmas present to Camp. It took me a long time get the pictures printed and put it all together so it was a late gift....and I already told him what it is. Now we just need to find some nails so we can hang it!

Oh! and check out this awesome picture of Camp from when he was 17! We found it at his parents house. It was a boating trip to the Bahamas. Doesn't it make you want the summer time to be here!?

My Birthday!

My birthday was quite eventful! I had a doctor's checkup for the pregnancy so we woke up early and I opened Camp's gift. It was a machete. haha..funny gift, huh?. He is trying to stock me up with home protection things so I feel more safe when it is just me and the baby at home. Anyway, I started to get ready for the appointment and them Camp comes upstairs with blood all over his hand. He ended up slicing open three of his fingers! We went to the E. R. and he had to get 4 stitches. He said it didn't hurt too bad and it was a fun experience since he hasn't had stitches until this point. He can always find the positive side. Camp also gave me a beautiful picture of Jesus and a little baby! I love it! Anyway, I still made my appointment and the baby is doing great! Yay! After the appointment, my mom took us out to eat at a Mexican restaurant.  For dinner, Camp's parents took us out to this amazing little steakhouse in Camden. So good!!! So our day was filled with hospital visits and good food. It was a great birthday.

This was after we cleaned and patched it up a little bit. His ring finger got it the worst

These pictures are from 7 days later. Camp decided to take the stitches out himself...with fingernail clippers! luckily his fingers look great and are almost completely healed now!

So happy he is stitch free!

Christmas!

Classes ended for us early last week! Yay! We have had so much fun just being together, not worrying about anything at all! I feel so spoiled. We have kept busy with the holidays, picking out Christmas gifts, hanging out with our families and my birthday! We live right next to Harbison which is a great place to go shopping. That is where we picked out most of our gifts. We have mostly been back and forth from Columbia to Camden. Camden is a great place to be, with Campbell's family. I just adore Campbell's mom. She is so sincere and kind. She is also so funny. Some of the things she says just make me laugh. I am blessed to be a part of her family now and my love for her always grows when I am with her. Will (camps brother) is on his mission to the Domican Republic and Zach leaves February 13 for the Salt lake South mission. I am so excited for them both! I love reading Will's emails with Campbell and seeing his pictures. We were able to speak to him for about 30 minutes on Christmas day. He sounds great and already has some really cool stories! The D.R. is so different from America. We will also love hearing from Zach when he leaves. Missionaries are great! Especially when they are your awesome brother in laws! We spent Christmas eve at Camps grandparents house. There was lots of good food, a talent show and of course  amazing people! Campbell did a great song/dance for his talent. It was so funny! I wish I would have recorded it. Taylor Sang, Zach did a skit and also beat boxed and Joe told a funny story. We spent Christmas night at Camp's parents house and had a great Christmas morning with them! We went to my families house that evening. We opened gifts, played games and took naps! It has been a great Christmas season! Here are a few pictures...I didn't get any from when we went to my parents house. We were having camera issues.

The beautiful tree!

The Connell's got a wii for Christmas  This is one of the dance games that came with it. It was hilarious watching Campbell dance with his shirt tucked in, looking all goofy. He was really moving it!

We're Back!

Well, we kind of dropped off of the blogging planet for a while. The fall rolled around and we both started classes which has taken up most of our time. Yesterday I found an old friends blog and I was reading about her life and her pregnancy and it reminded me of why I liked the idea of a blog - to document all of the happy little things in life! The happiest news we have (which I am sure you all know by now) is that we are going to have a BABY! It is a baby girl! Ah, just typing that makes my heart beat fast with excitement! We are only about 10 weeks away from her arrival. We could not be more excited. She is due March 10. We know life will be changing dramatically and school will be a little more tough with a little one around but this is exactly what we wanted- to start our little family. I just can't wait to be a mama. Ever since I can remember I have had a deep love for children. I love their purity and innocence. I have already developed such love for this little beauty growing inside of me. I just can not wait to meet her. Campbell is so excited also. He will be such an amazing father to a little girl. Campbell has great respect for the women in his life. He truly makes me feel like his one and only queen and I know he will treat her like a princess. I am so glad she will have that example in her life so she will be able marry a man who will make her happy and treat her like his special lady. I recognize this little baby is a blessing from God. I am so thankful he has given us this little spirit to be a part of our eternal family!
